Spring Racing for Breast Cancer Care WA

Oct 10 2016 by Bev & Nic

Okay, so we know that Perth has been taking its sweet time getting the old Spring memo (OMG, hurry up sunshine!!), but Spring Racing season is still in full swing. And you know what that means…fine fillies, fashion and lots of it!

Ask your fave florist to make you a flower crown. We love The Flower Hound.

We like to try and do our bit for charities close to our hearts and Breast Cancer Care WA is one that’s especially close to us as Bev’s Mum had her own battle with Breast Cancer a few years ago.

Thankfully our story has a happy ending, but organisations like this can’t exist without your help.

Breast Cancer Care WA receives no government funding, relying 100 per cent on the generosity of the WA community in order to provide its range of services at no charge.

Along with being there for families going through breast cancer, it also helps raise awareness and promotes self checks; a message that is super important to women of all ages and one we want to help spread far and wide.

This year Breast Cancer Care WA is having a fundraising Spring Racing day on Saturday, November 12 at Ascot Racecourse and all the money raised on the day stays in WA to help families affected by cancer.

We’d love you to don some purple and come and help us support it, because Breast Cancer Care WA do an amazing job for the women of WA and their families.

Anyone who has been through that journey will tell you that the support you get from organisations such as this is priceless. It really does mean the world to the families it helps and makes the fear of having breast cancer or having a family member with it, just that little bit easier to bear.

To help you with your purple fashion inspo, we’ve found a few pieces that would look great on the day.

The deets – Saturday, November 12 from | 12.30pm – 5.30pm @ Ascot Racecourse
Early bird tickets are now on sale for a limited time at $145 p.p. Visit www.breastcancer.org.au or call 08 9324 3703.

Giddy Up!
