Hot to Trot: Citigold Polo in the Valley

Apr 11 2014 by Bev & Nic

The ultimate adrenalin rush.

It’s no secret that Nic and I love dressing up, attending the odd function and sipping a champagne or two.

But the fact that we could do it all for charity on Sunday at last weekend’s Polo in the Valley was the pickle on the cheese.

And so it was that we got to spend time in the beautiful Swan Valley at the Prendiville’s Duncraig Stud, in our Sunday best and help raise $100,000 for Youth Focus to help prevent youth suicide and depression.

We’d never been before and we weren’t disappointed; we always love a good Style Stalk, where people make an effort to look their best and be bold with their fashion choices (both colts and fillies).

There was also the handsome men on pretty horses, stomping the divots and hanging out in the Telethon Adventurers tent, lovingly put together by Opulence Events Management.

Add to that a stylish fashion parade by Adam Heath from the Claremont Quarter and we’re in TST heaven.

We’re already champing at the bit for next year’s and hope you trot along too.
