Did you know that July is International Blondie and Deborah Harry month? Nope, me neither. But it is and I love Blondie, so let’s run with it.
I’ve loved Blondie, and specifically Deborah Harry forever. Her rock chick chic is something I’ve loved and ‘attempted’ to emulate at several times throughout my life…and here we are again. On the uh-oh side of 35, wanting to rock ‘rock-chick’ without looking like I’m going to a fancy dress party.
With my nickname having been ‘Goldie’ for most of my life I feel like ‘Blondie’ and I are kind of linked anyway. I mean gold, blonde, I’m pretty sure if we met we’d be friends, not besties, but you know…pretty tight.

Deborah’s Blondie is known for many things, Ray-Bans, leather, bedhead hair, animal print and graphic tees – my trick is to work only a couple at a time into my classic style to achieve that rock chick edge.
