Be Brave. Be Bright. Be Neon.

Bright Sophia Webster shoes and Naven yellow top? Yes Please.

I vaguely recall whinging loudly and often in April about how over summer I was.

Things I may have uttered sounded a lot like:

“It’s been too hot for too long”

” I want to wear boots and jackets and scarves…NOW”

“Is winter ever coming?!”

Come back sweet sunshine. All is forgiven.

Yes. I’m fickle for fashion, but aren’t we all?
It’s been only two months (if that) of chilly Perth mornings and rainy days, and already I’m done. But I’ve seen the light. And thy name is Neon.

Neon necklaces
I’m in LOVE with these made to order necklaces (L – AU$371, R – AU$338) from Pure Essentia on Etsy

If I can’t will summer back, then I’m going to fake it (till I make it, ha). Neon is fun, bright and light and takes me back to the 80s where I rocked neon pink Ra-Ra skirts and yellow scrunchies. Of course I was only one. Ok, maybe five. Well around five…at the start anyway.

This time of year need not be a parade of greys and blacks. I’ve vowed to leave full-body neon back in the 80s, but I love a neon colour pop here or there to bring a touch of  summer fun back into winter.
